Alukap-XR Hip Bar (31mm | 80mm x 3,000mm)

This 80mm x 3,000mm, 31mm thick, Powder Coated Alukap®-XR Hip Bar has extra upstand height and an overhanging top cap. The extra height gives the needed capacity to accept glazing from two different angles as is required at a hip rafter. Also, the Alukap®-XR Hip Bar side walls and overhang allow a perfect sealing position for abutting jack rafter glazing bars. Roof glazing has always been a challenging task; rewarding if it goes well, and expensive if it doesn't. ALUKAP®-XR puts paid to uncertainty. Alukap®-XR is a fully aluminium system, and with a proven gasket system providing superior sealing capabilities, concealed fixings giving excellent aesthetics and reduced installation time, it's an all-round winner. The Alukap®-XR bar comes with the top two gaskets, an end cap and all the screws you require. Optional 45mm and 55mm rafter base gaskets can be ordered separately.
