Lighting the Way This World Mental Health Day with The Lighthouse Charity

Earlier this year, the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) released its report 'Understanding Mental Health in the Built Environment 2025' which highlights the current state of mental health in the industry. Key findings from the report showed high levels of poor mental health, with 94% experiencing stress over the past year, 83% experiencing anxiety, and 60% experiencing depression.

The factors contributing towards this poor mental health included having too much work and unrealistic deadlines, as well as issues around communication, staffing, and planning.*
